TWO men have been charged following an alleged “disturbance” in Glasgow’s West End.
Officers arrived at the scene on Great Western Road after the alarm was raised at around 4.45pm on Friday.
Police said the incident allegedly involved a scooter rider and the driver of a car.
Emergency crews attended and a 30-year-old man, the scooter driver, was checked into hospital as a precaution.
Police confirmed that no one else was injured.
The scooter driver was charged with alleged threatening and abusive behavior.
Meanwhile, a 55-year-old man, the driver of the car, has been charged with alleged assault and a traffic violation.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At around 4.45pm on Friday, July 5, we were called to a report of a disturbance on the Great Western Road in Glasgow, involving a scooter rider and the driver of a car.
“Police officers attended and the motorcyclist was examined at hospital as a precaution. No one else was injured.
“A 30-year-old man, the scooter driver, has been charged with threatening and abusive behaviour.
“A 55-year-old man, the driver of the car, has been charged in connection with assault and a traffic violation.”
