TOTTENHAM PREVIEW: SEASON TWO ANGE
Ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s opening trip to Leicester City last week, Ange Postecoglou uttered what could be infamous words when he said he usually wins things in his second season. Without being too clichéd or critical, Spurs then started with an extremely ‘Spurs-y’ performance.
Against what looked like a bit of first-half confusion after a difficult summer transfer window, Tottenham dominated the first half at Leicester but only Pedro Porro found the back of the net to make it 1-0 at the break. Those wasted chances were then punished in the second half when Jamie Vardy scored a 57the minute of draw.
EVERTON PREVIEW: EARLY PRESSURE ON DYCHE
Sean Dyche has already made a thinly veiled dig at Everton fans and their alleged speed in over-criticising the Toffees when things go wrong and, after a 3-0 defeat at home to a Brighton and Hove Albion side struggling to adjust to the methods of a new manager, that will not go down well with the Goodison faithful.
The Toffees started the game relatively well and had plenty of chances in the first half, as well as having a penalty awarded but disallowed in the second half, but goals from Kaoru Mitoma, Danny Welbeck and Simon Adingra inflicted the first humiliation of what could be a long season for Everton in their final campaign at Goodison Park.

TOTTENHAM VS EVERTON PREDICTION
This one is intriguing because another heavy defeat for the visitors will really see the dissent and pressure start to mount on Sean Dyche and Everton. Tottenham, however, have proven themselves time and time again that they find it difficult to break down low-block defences and there’s no real argument to suggest that this weekend will be any different. Spurs could get over the line, but finding a handicap bet in favour of a low-scoring game could well be a good choice.
