Ernie Adams named interim head coach at Phillips Academy

Phillips Academy has turned to a legendary figure from its own past to lead the "Big Blue" football program into the 2026 season. Ernie Adams, the longtime New England Patriots research director and a central figure in the franchise’s six Super Bowl titles, has been named the program’s interim head coach. Rivals Andy Villamarzo was first to confirm the news with the school.
